These terms apply whenever you place a bulk order with The Gift Desk, whether through our website enquiry form, WhatsApp, phone or email. By confirming an order with us, you agree to them. If anything here is unclear, ask us before you confirm — we would rather clarify upfront than surprise you later.

Who we are

The Gift Desk is a bulk gifting business based in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh, dispatching corporate hampers, wedding return gifts, festive gifting and branded merchandise across India.

Quotes and pricing

• Prices we quote are valid for the quantity, specification and timeframe discussed at the time — they can change if the order scope changes.
• Quoted rates are ex-GST and ex-transport unless we say otherwise in writing.
• GST is charged at the applicable rate for the product category. Transport is billed at actuals based on weight, volume and destination — we share the expected cost before you confirm.
• Bulk pricing depends on quantity. A change in order size after quoting may change the per-unit rate.

Payment terms

• 50% advance is required to confirm an order and block stock or production capacity.
• The balance 50% is due before dispatch.
• Production and sourcing begin only after the advance is received.
• For established corporate clients, payment against a purchase order can be arranged — ask us.

Delivery and dispatch

• Most orders dispatch within 2–7 working days of confirmation, depending on quantity, customisation and stock.
• Urgent orders are considered case by case, subject to quantity and destination — ask us before assuming a date is possible.
• Once dispatched, transit time depends on the transport provider and delivery location, and is outside our direct control.
• We dispatch pan-India. Delivery timelines for remote locations may run longer than for major cities.

Customisation and branding

• Logo files, text and artwork for branding must be approved by you before production starts. Once approved, changes may not be possible without a new production run at additional cost.
• Colours on screen (your monitor, our proofs) can vary slightly from the finished product due to printing and material differences.
• For branded products sourced from third-party brands, branding method and placement depend on what that brand permits.

Order changes and cancellations

• Once production or procurement has started against your advance, the order generally cannot be cancelled, as materials and customisation are already committed.
• Quantity or specification changes after confirmation may affect price and timeline — we will tell you before proceeding.
• If you need to cancel before production starts, tell us as early as possible; refund of the advance, if any, is assessed case by case depending on what has already been committed on our end.

Quality and damage in transit

• We inspect orders before dispatch. If something arrives damaged or incorrect, tell us within 48 hours of delivery with photos, and we will make it right — replacement or resolution depending on the situation.
• Minor natural variation in handcrafted or natural-material items (jute, wood, brass, dried flowers) is normal and not treated as a defect.

What we're not responsible for

• Delays caused by the transport provider once goods have left our dispatch point.
• Delays or issues caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses provided to us.
• Force majeure events — natural disasters, strikes, regulatory action, or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Intellectual property

Any logo, design or artwork you send us for branding remains your property. We use it only to fulfil your order and do not reuse it elsewhere without your permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts in Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect at the time you confirm an order is the one that applies to it.
